Super Bowl Betting: How US Publishers Ranked

The Winning 5

1️⃣ CBS Sports dominated visibility in the Mobile News Boxes throughout Super Bowl Sunday. They provided various guides and analytics-focused content to assist bettors. While there was a slight drop in visibility in the hour leading up to the game, CBS Sports ultimately emerged as the top news publisher of the day.

2️⃣ USA Today began the day at a significant disadvantage compared to its main competitor but managed to close the gap and secure the top position by game time. In the hour leading up to kickoff, USA Today triumphed in the SEO race with an article that successfully engaged bettors looking for last-minute tips.

3️⃣ The Athletic initially had a slow start but gained visibility by breakfast time by offering bettors the latest news, predictions, and odds through their live blog. They performed particularly well during the pregame hours, but their engagement dipped by kickoff time, ultimately finishing third overall.

4️⃣ Yahoo Sports surged in visibility around 9 a.m., ranking in 2nd place by lunchtime and peaking around 4 p.m. before slowly declining. Their top article included a section on “weird props,” discussing the odds of Gatorade colors and the odds of a Travis Kelce proposal to Taylor Swift, appealing to a wide audience.

5️⃣ Action Network rounded up the top 5 most visible publishers with their Same Game Parlay content receiving the most visibility throughout the day.
