Meet our U.S. intern, Micah Bledsoe

We are thrilled to announce intern Micah Bledsoe is joining our Trisolute News Dashboard team in the U.S.

Bledsoe is a graduate student at Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication.

She was born in Michigan, finished high school in Illinois, and then moved to Phoenix, Arizona, to complete her undergraduate degree. Prior to starting college, Bledsoe was a gymnast and cheerleader who spent a few hours a week teaching the basics of gymnastics.

Bledsoe completed her undergrad degree in May 2018 with a major in journalism and mass communication and a double minor in political science and women gender studies.

Currently, she serves as the president of the ASU student chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists. This semester, she will be working for Trisolute as a junior account manager intern and as a government/justice reporter for Cronkite News.

In the past, Bledsoe has worked as an intern for Your PHX CW6 – KASW TV and as a sustainability reporter for Cronkite News. As a sustainability reporter, Bledsoe worked from the Los Angeles news bureau.

In the future, Bledsoe hopes to be the host of her very own television show that changes or revolutionizes the way news is done today for newer generations.
