Top 5 Canadian publishers on the Nvidia scandal
In the race for visibility on Nvidia’s share price drop, five publishers took the lead in Canada’s mobile News Boxes: Forbes, BBC, CNBC, The Guardian, and TechRadar. While some of those publishers showed constant levels of visibility throughout the examined time period, others surprised with noticeable peaks and movement on certain days.
Being in first place overall, Forbes shows a constantly high visibility, with a noticeable peak on January 27, followed by a slight drop and then another increase, which takes its peak on January 29. In second place follows the UK-based publisher BBC, who showcases an impressive surge in visibility on January 28, where it shortly overshadows its competition by a mile, before the publisher’s visibility decreases again. CNBC, who takes third place in this list, shows an opposite pattern: while its level of visibility remains relatively constant for most days, there is a slight but noticeable drop on January 28, which the publisher recovers from shortly thereafter, though. The Guardian, another UK-based publisher in the list, claims 4th place overall. Similar to the BBC, this publisher’s visibility peaks on January 28, temporarily putting it in third place. Last but not least, fifth place goes to TechRadar, who probably shows the most impressive course of visibility: While showcasing close to no visibility from January 26 to January 28, this publisher then experiences a massive surge in visibility, catapulting it upwards into an impressive second place on January 30.
