That’s why we took a deep dive into our Trisolute News Dashboard data to find out how publishers performed in the US on just that topic. To be more precise, we examined the mobile visibility overall for the entire day the Grammys took place (February 2), filtered out the topical keywords extracted from Google News and Google Trends, and took a close look at the top 5 most visible US publishers for those keywords.

Top-ranking keywords on the Grammy Awards
To start this analysis off, we’ll first have a look at all the relevant keywords that ranked on February 2 and are topically related to the Grammy Awards. The keywords are sorted in descending order by their number of rankings.

- Rankings for keywords with variations of general terms for the event (e.g., ‘grammys 2025’, ‘grammys’, ‘grammy awards’) make up 43% of the total number of rankings (3,922 out of 9,479 rankings). The keyword ‘grammys 2025’ generates the most rankings (1,876), making up 20% of total rankings alone.
- Unsurprisingly, a large number of the listed keywords include celebrity names. 27 out of the total 45 listed keywords can be allocated to that category, making up 40% of the total number of rankings (3,779 out of 9,479 rankings). The most frequently appearing names in the list are Taylor Swift (six keywords with 520 rankings), Bianca Censori (three keywords with 477 rankings), Jaden Smith (three keywords with 244 rankings), and Kanye West (three keywords with 244 rankings). The most-ranked keyword in this category is ‘the weeknd’ with 903 rankings.
- The celebrities’ red carpet appearances at the Grammy Awards also seemed of great interest for publishers, as six out of the 45 listed keywords contain the term ‘red carpet’, making up 9% of the total rankings (884 out of 9,479 rankings). Two of those keywords additionally contain the name Jaden Smith (‘red carpet jaden smith’, 102 rankings, and ‘grammys red carpet jaden smith’, 79 rankings), suggesting a specific interest in this celebrity’s red carpet appearance.
- Five keywords deal with the actual nominations and wins of the Grammy Awards (‘grammy nominations 2025’, ‘2025 winners’, ‘winners’, ‘2025 live updates’, ‘current nominations for the 67th annual grammy awards’), making up 9% of the total rankings (863 out of 9,479 rankings).

The New York Times claims the first place in the race of visibility on the Grammys. In total, this publisher reached 391 keyword rankings during the examined time period, with the keyword ‘grammys 2025’ being the most ranked one and contributing 106 rankings to that number. The New York Times showcases a relatively steady course of visibility throughout the entire day, with the most obvious peaks happening at 2 a.m., from 12 to 1 p.m., and at 7 p.m. The publisher’s most visible article on the event is ‘What Time Do the 2025 Grammy Awards Start? Second place goes to Page Six. CNN secures the third place for publisher visibility for the Grammys. In total, they reached 205 keyword rankings, with ‘grammys 2025 (59 rankings) being the most ranked one. In the nightof February 2, especially from 1 a.m. to 3 a.m., CNN’s visibility is significantly higher than the competition’s before decreasing throughout the day. People Magazine is the fourth most visible publisher on the day of the Grammys. In total, this publisher reached 274 keyword rankings on the event, with the most ranked keyword ‘grammys 2025’ contributing 83 rankings to that number. Last but not least, AP News claims fifth place among US publishers that reported on the Grammys. In total, this publisher reached 215 rankings, with its most-ranked keyword, ‘grammys 2025’, gaining 51 rankings.
